Pheonix - Sedona - Grand Canyon National Park

Alarms 5.50am again this morning breaky in our room 1/2 Cinnabon and nut bar and coffee! Bags out at 6.45am bus at 7.30 for 7.45am departure. The early scenery this morning is desert and still with Cactus, then it changes as we climb higher it changes and then the Red Canyon comes into view. First stop Bell Rock Vista, step deep red walls, just outside Sedona for photo's of the Red Canyon, this is a 20 min stop.

Arrived in Sedona here from  10.20am - 12.15pm we had some lunch and walked around, looked for the Creek but could not find it so walked the main street. We then enjoyed an ice cream as it is hot here about 100F.

Next stop Grand Canyon Airport to drop those going on the Helicopter flights this afternoon. The rest of us dropped at Bright Angel Lodge on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, at 3.05pm we get our first look at the Grand Canyon - WOW! It is just amazing the view is breathe taking, it is just so huge! Fantastic colours on the Canyon at this time of the day. We walked along the rim and took countless photo's. We had till 4.45pm to view the Canyon walk along the rim and take photos.

We arrived at our Yavapai Lodge Room 7005 at 5pm. Walked down to the Cafe to find food, Roast Chicken, Broccoli and potato mash, not that great but filled the hole. Found the supermarket and got some OJ for the morning and back to our room. Sort the bags for the morning, diary and get ready for bed.
We have a very early start in the morning.
