Alarm at 5.30am this morning breakfast in our room, fruit, nut bar and juice. Antelope Canyon tour 6.45am, did not leave till 7am on the last truck. 20min drive on the highway then a 20 min bumpy, dusty drive through the dry River Bed on the back of an open truck much like the one in Monument Valley. Our guide Cheryl walked us through the Canyon explaining about the formations. Once again these tours run by the Native Indians and no private cars are allowed in the area.Amazing colours and formations where Sand Dunes have been formed into rock. The water still floods through the Canyon and washes more sand through. Lots of pictures will have to see how they come out on the home PC as some are dark.

Dropped at Inspiration Point and walked along the rim to Sunset point. We took the full 30 mins and really enjoyed the spectacular landscape. Pitty time did not allow for us to do the walk down into the Canyon - not that you would want to do a 3 hours walk in this heat 100F?
