Early start again today as we have a long drive ahead of us. Alarms at 7am breakfast downstairs in the lobby once again. Car packed and checked out by 9.10am. Off to the supermarket time to stock up o supplies for the days ahead. Shopping done, post office and bank found on the road again at 11am. Arrived at the Head Quarters of the Iditarod at 12noon, watched a movie about the race lunch in the car park and on the road again at 1.10pm. Stopped at viewing lookouts for Mt Mc Kinley South 3.10pm & North 3.20pm Peaks lots cloud over the mountains so no able to see Mt Mc Kinley today. Pete drove from here into Denali Park Centre at 5.10pm to confirm our bus tickets for tomorrow and watched a movie on the early days in Denali National Park the theatre was very cold. Guess that helps keep everyone awake!

Back to Carlo Creek Cabins to check into our cabins. B&G - Cabin 4 P&D - Cabin 5. Carlo Creeik runs behind the cabins, lovely peaceful setting.
Drove (raining) across the road to Mc Kinley Creekside Cafe for dinner, a very busy small Cafe. Great home cooked food and deserts. Back to our cabins and walked around the grounds. Prepared our food for our day in Denali National Park tomorrow. Bed 10pm 48F. Sunset here at 12.11am and Sunrise 3.20am - it does not get dark up here, just goes into twilight for a few hours.
