Alarms set for 7am breakfast and frantic packing of our bags all done by 9.15am! We don't have to leave til 11am - yep could have had a sleep in. Gives us time to write some postcards and get them in the mail before we check out. Taxi to the Harbour at 11.05am arrive at 11.20am very busy the check in process begins, Customs then cruise check-in finally on board the "Radiance of the Seas" our home for the next 7 nights at 12.30pm really quite a smooth process. Head up to 11th floor for lunch in the Windjammer Cafe. Walked around the ship trying to get our bearings and check out our rooms around 1.45pm. Very happy with them good size and balconies as well. Compulsory emergency drill at 3.45pm and we set sail at 4.15pm. Vancouver has turned on the sun and it is a lovely sunny afternoon for us to begin our cruise. let's hope this weather follows us. Dinner at 5.30pm in Cascades Restaurant, yep 3 course meal wonderful food. Opening night Welcome show in the Aurora Theatre.
