Cloudy - Cool Max 78F - Pheonix 108F
Alarm at 5.50am breakfast in our room, bags out at 6.45am down to board the bus at 7.40am for 7.45am departure. A few delays with missing passengers. Finally on the road at 8.15am our first stop Palm Springs, at 10.10am we have a 40 mins stop so had a quick walk around and time for a coffee at Starbucks. On the road again and shortly after we come to a stand still, we crawl for 30-40mins there has been an accident which has caused the delay. Lunch stop at a truck stop Triple J's the temp has risen to about 104F 1.30 to 2.25pm. Burgers & Cinnabon for lunch today. Desert all around us now with large Saguaro Cactus which can be up to 50mtrs high live about 200 years. Arrive at Fort Mc Dowell Resort Pheonix Arizona, it is on an Indian Reservation and is a Radisson Resort, nice rooms, pool and a Casino. Welcome reception with snacks and free Magurita. Walked around the complex and decided to eat at Cafe 87 in the Casino resonable meal. We played pokies with our free $20 vouchers and ended up $18.22 up so quite while we where infront. Spoke to Kirsty & Matthew on Skype and off to bed. Deb much later using the Free fast
