Seattle to Penticton

Friday 17th May 2013
Up early this morning as we have a long drive ahead of us with things to see along the way. On the road by 8.40am and heading out of Seattle. First stop at Sedro-Wooley for petrol and change of drivers. Peter had his first drive of the car today and yep did a few U-Turns.

Next stop North Casscades NP Visitor Centre. Collected maps and on the way again.Stopping at the Gorge Overlook, Diablo Lake Overlook - almost blown away here. We had lunch at Bridge Creek Trail Head car park surrounded by snow on the ground and snow capped mountains, luckily the car park was clear of snow.

Another quick stop for petrol and then we crossed into Canada - British Columbia stopped for pictures and then onto Peneticton about 7pm. Really large 2 bedroom unit so decided to get pizza and eat in tonight.The weather has been raining and sunny patches during the day. FB Calls to Matthew tonight nice to chat with him. Will try Kirsty again tomorrow night, as she was at Netball.
Others had a early night 10 - 10.30 and Deb about midnight. The internet is very slow so I willl post this in the morning.
