Breakfast in our rooms again this morning. Peter hardly slept last night Deb was fine. Perhaps Jet lag, hopefully he will be better tonight. Geoff & Peter caught a taxi to collect the hire car, we have a Chevrolet "Chevy" Traverse it's a big sucker like a truck! Collected us from the Motel and all our luggage plenty of room for it all. Drove over the Golden Gate Bridge stopping on the other side to look back at it. Snacks in the car before heading off on Highway 101 at 12.45pm towards Eureka. Weather fine and quite warm towards the middle of the day. Lunch stop at Ukiah 2.30pm and on the road again by 3.30pm. Arrived in Eureka Best Western Bayshore Inn at 6.20pm. Dinner tonight at Shamus T-Bones just behind the Motel. Great meals & Service. Short walk after dinner and back in our room. Early to bed tonight another big day tomorrow exploring the Redwood Forrests and heading to Medford.
